Prayer Ministry

Prayer Ministry

Inspiration:

"If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer!" Job 11:13-20

Purpose:

It has been said that prayer is an attitude of dependence of God, a way of life, or like spiritual 'breathing'. Indeed, prayer is all of those things, for without inviting God to journey with us in prayer, the time and effort invested in activity would be worth very little. Prayer is the essential part of a Christian's life that ensures that their worship and work for the Lord is true. God wants to reach out to the world, but this will only happen when His people are guided by His Spirit and receive His strength through prayer.

How can I get involved?

There are a number of opportunities to be involved in the prayer life of the Church. Prayer Meetings before each Sunday service in the Prayer & Counseling Room in the Church Office area. They occur at 9.00am and 6.30pm each Sunday.

Prayer Ministry operates each day as needed. Your prayer needs for inclusion on the Prayernet can be submitted on the Communication Card available in the auditorium and at the Information Desk in the foyer or contact Dawn Craig at the Church Office during office hours.

The A.C.T.S. of Prayer
