Our Purpose

The Diamond Valley Baptist Women’s ministry desires to serve the women in the church and the wider community, by providing activities and events which seek to support and encourage one another and to strengthen faith in Jesus Christ.

Women In Focus is for women of all ages. It is focused on the issues that face women today. Women are welcome to become involved in any of the group’s activities.

The aim of Women In Focus is to provide a unique opportunity to show God’s love and care and the message of His grace by giving opportunities to support, encourage and minister to each other in a relaxed non-threatening environment.

Women In Focus activities are usually in the form of breakfast or morning/afternoon tea meetings. Other events include seminars on relevant issues and visits to places of interest. Any activity may also include a guest speaker or discussion. The group is flexible and prepared to adapt activities to meet the needs and interests of the women involved.
